Free Virtual Q&A for Classrooms and Bookclubs

If your classroom (including homeschool classrooms!) or bookclub has read one of Natalie’s novels together (or if you’ve read it aloud to your bookclub or class), reach out! Natalie offers free, virtual 20 minute visits via Zoom (or your preferred platform). Please note, at this time, due to a heavy writing schedule, this Q&A is only available to groups who’ve read her books together. (And you must be an adult to reach out.)

Bookplate bundles are available for free for classes who are reading one of Natalie’s books together. Reach out for more info!

To snag a date for a free virtual Q&A:

Use the form on the contact page and let us know:

  • Three dates and times that might work for you this semester (including your time zone).
  • Which book your students have read, or are reading together. (No problem if they’re not finished with the book in time for the visit — we can have a spoiler free Q&A!)
  • How many students will be attending and their grade level.

“Natalie Lloyd was my first author visit as a librarian and it was PERFECT! Everyone on my campus loved her visit and we all still talk about how wonderful it was! Her presentation had all the students and staff listening attentively as she told stories and shared with the readers. She mingled with students during lunch and spoke to each person as if they were the only person in the room. She also stayed to sign every book that was left for signing and did it all with incredible grace. She is definitely an author that EVERYONE needs to hear. It was an honor to have her visit my school.” – Jessica Samuel Librarian & Technology Integration Mentor, Keenan Elementary School

“It was a privilege to have Natalie Lloyd visit our schools. We loved her silly imaginative smash-up words on the page but meeting her in person was the icing on the cake. Through her inspiration, the kids created their own crazy creative words which we used to decorate our school hallways. Natalie is down to earth, real and was a great presenter. It was obvious the kids felt a connection when she talked about being young like them in the presentation. We are hopeful to have her come back to our school someday.” – Lauren Unke Right to Read Co-Chair, Hudson City Schools
